The visit, led by LIG Group Chairman Koo Bon-sang, took place on a Monday local time in Thailand and included company executives and employees.
The Korean War, which unfolded between 1950 and 1953, saw Thailand commit a substantial military force, contributing 6,326 troops to the conflict. This contribution came at a heavy cost, as 136 Thai soldiers lost their lives, while around 1,200 were wounded during the hostilities. The sacrifices made by these servicemen are commemorated and recognized by LIG Nex1, reflecting the enduring ties between South Korea and Thailand fueled by shared experiences during the war.
