Global lifestyle brand Miniso has opened its largest store in Canada at West Edmonton Mall.

Spanning over 1,000 square meters, the new store was designed with a train-themed façade inspired by the brand’s concept “The Greatest Fun Journey”.
Inside, customers can explore colourful themed zones offering an extensive selection of lifestyle goods, beauty items, and plush toys, all curated to bring fun and inspiration to shoppers of all ages.
Notably, the store brings together a selection of global IP collaborations and comprehensive product selections of around 5,000 SKUs, including collections from Sanrio (including “Hello Kitty”), Disney (“Stitch” and “Winnie the Pooh”), and “Harry Potter”, alongside Miniso’s owned IPs.
The store also introduces several new lines to Canada, including the Hello Kitty Pop Star series, Sanrio Fox Island series, and Sanrio Animal Adventure vinyl plush surprise boxes. The Sanrio Lovely Ribbon Collection, featuring everyday accessories such as plush hair ties, shopping bags, and decorative pins, also launches nationwide.
Looking ahead, the Edmonton store is expected to debut additional original IPs, including Kamaru and Carrot Street, expanding the brand’s portfolio.
Miniso continues to strengthen its presence in Canada, where it already operates stores in Toronto, Ottawa, and Vancouver, including its flagship IP Collection Store at Toronto Eaton Centre and a pink-themed flagship at CF Richmond Centre. The company said that more stores are planned for key Canadian cities.
