“As the only Australian-born platform, Menulog has a proud history but ultimately, as a business, we have been navigating challenging circumstances and the decision was made to close local operations.
“Please be advised that our website and app will remain operational until 23:59 AEDT Wednesday 26 November, but will not be accepting orders after this date.”
Menulog ceased its operations in New Zealand last year.
Founded in Sydney in 2006, Menulog was bought by UK-based Just Eat in 2015.

Just Eat was subsequently merged into Dutch-based Just Eat Takeaway.com in 2020.
Menulog said anyone with credit through the app would still be able to use them during the next two weeks.
“Menulog will honour any unused account credits or vouchers over the next two weeks,” they said.
“If you have any questions about using your voucher or account credit, our team is here to help.
“Finally, we would like to sincerely thank you for your support over almost 20 years.”
The online food and beverage service app were famous for marketing with a music-video style ad featuring Snoop Dogg, but has faced mounting pressure from competing services Uber Eats and Door Dash.
Menulog will now joined the likes of Deliveroo who closed its operations in Australia in November 2022.
