A death investigation is underway in Montgomery County after a body was found inside a garbage can along the Schuylkill River Trail on Monday night.
NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) — A death investigation is underway in Montgomery County after a body was found inside a garbage can along the Schuylkill River Trail on Monday night.
Chopper 6 was over a large police presence in a wooded area near West Washington and Noble streets in Norristown just before 8 p.m.
The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office said the body is that of a man, who appears to be approximately 40-49 years old. The man was living unhoused and was living in the country without legal permission, the D.A.’s office said.
The cause and manner of death have not been released.
