FDIC Releases August 2025 CRA Performance Evaluations

On November 3, the FDIC published its list of state nonmember banks evaluated for CRA compliance for August 2025. The CRA requires the FDIC to assess how well banks meet the credit needs of their communities, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, consistent with safe and sound operations. Of the 60 banks evaluated, 56 received a “satisfactory” rating, and four received an “outstanding” rating. No banks received “needs to improve” or “substantial noncompliance” ratings in August.
