GILLETTE, Wyo. — The City of Gillette confirmed this afternoon that a citywide power outage has left all residents without electricity.
According to a post from the City of Gillette Government social media account, the outage began around 12:40 p.m. Officials said they do not yet have an estimated time for service restoration.
The city is using its official social media channels to share updates as crews work to assess the situation. As of the most recent update, the cause of the outage has not been released.
City officials are encouraging residents to monitor the City of Gillette social media page for the latest information.
