Your 2-Minute Explainer On How To Evict A Big Brother Australia 2025 Housemate

On Wednesday night, the Big Brother Australia house was rocked by its first nominations night, just a few short days after 13 new Big Brother housemates stepped through the front door. With five points each to assign to another housemate, it was our first real glimpse at not only who likes (or doesn’t like) who, and which housemates are playing the game with a strategic mind.
For a quick refresher, housemates are each called into the diary room one at a time to tell Big Brother who they’d like to nominate for eviction and why. The contestants can split those five points however they see fit, whether it’s with a 4-1 split that sees a bulk of the points going to one unlucky person, or a 3-2 split that’s as close to half-half as you can get.
Some assigned votes according to vibes alone, while others wanted to split up early alliances or use their votes to address serious issues in the house. Differing opinions, points of view, and political leanings are weighing heavily on some of the contestants already in the 2025 season and with them all being locked in a house for 24 hours a day together, we can’t hardly blame them.
But now that the nominations are in, attention is turning to voting. The 2025 season of Big Brother has seen the reality show returning to its roots, which means along with the live nominations and the 24-hour live stream, live evictions will also be taking place every week at Dreamworld, with the show’s host Mel Tracina booting one unlucky housemate from the house until we’re left with a winner. Of course, it’s the public (that’s us!) that’s responsible for who actually leaves the house each week, through a voting system that honestly gives us a nostalgic little thrill.
How To Vote To Evict A 2025 Big Brother Housemate
Voting has never been simpler, and you don’t even need to text an obscure 1800 number anymore to have your voice heard. Simply visit the 10Play app Channel 10 website, specifically this page on the Channel 10 website, and tap on the person who you’d like to save, then submit your vote. That’s it! You will need to sign up for a free 10Play account and we suggest trying on mobile as the desktop site is a bit clunky.
