Baby P’s evil mum locked up again over secret fling with man she met online – as she makes sick bid for freedom

BABY P’s evil mum was hauled back to jail after she embarked on a secret fling with a man she met online, a parole hearing was told.
Tracey Connelly, 42, was jailed for at least five years in 2009 for causing or allowing the death of 17-month-old Peter.

She was released from prison in 2013 but recalled just two years later after selling nude pictures of herself online.
Despite a mountain of controversy, the decision was made to free Connelly again in 2022 and she was made subject to 20 licence conditions.
But in August last year, she found herself back behind bars for breaching the terms of that licence – although the nature of the breach was not revealed at the time.
A public parole hearing was today told Connelly was actually recalled back to prison after she started a relationship with a man she met online without telling officials supervising her.
Her prison offender manager (POM) said the vile mum had deleted material from her phone to avoid officials finding out about her relationship.
When asked why she kept it a secret, the POM said Connelly feared “being judged”.
The official added: “We all understand what she got from… that relationship is making her feel good about herself.
“If she then disclosed at that point either probation will say you can’t have the relationship… or we need to disclose to him, which leads to a fear of ‘once he knows who I am he won’t want me’.”
The court heard the situation “closely mirrored” that of her first recall and when she was in custody following her return to prison, when she also developed other intimate relationships.
Panel chairwoman Sally Allbeury said: “The 2013 panel considered there to be a major risk in the context of Ms Connelly developing an intimate relationship where she prioritises a partner’s needs and her own needs over those of children.
“Subsequent panels have had the same concerns.”
Panel members for Connelly’s review will assess whether to release her from prison or recommend she is transferred to open prison conditions.
Baby P’s brutal killing in 2007 shocked the nation after it emerged there were 60 missed opportunities to save him.
Little Peter suffered more than 50 injuries during an eight-month campaign of cruelty in Haringey, North London.
Connelly’s partner, Steven Barker and his brother Jason Owen were also jailed over his death.
In 2022, the mum was freed from HMP Low Newton under the cover of darkness despite a last-minute plea by then-Deputy PM Dominic Raab.
The hearing continues.
