Online users who viewed the film on OTT platforms have shared their insights on the lighthearted romantic comedy. Many compared it to Vijay’s 2001 movie Shahjahan, where the protagonist, a relationship expert, encounters difficulties in his own love life. “Genz version of Shahjahan – Pradeep’s charm & style – Mamitha excelled in her role. Sarath Kumar sir’s proposal scene was adorable, and the songs were great.” Another viewer remarked, “Shahjahan-esque film for the Gen Z crowd @pradeeponelife dominates the screens with immense style and an outstanding performance. Strong first half, solid second half, catchy songs & interval BGM @SaiAbhyankkar.”
