Connor Bedard Surging Up Under-21 Career Points List

Connor Bedard has really taken a big step for the Chicago Blackhawks and is turning into exactly what the team had hoped when drafting him first overall. In his third season and at age 20, Bedard has 154 career points. He is in a unique spot to have the second-most points before turning 21 years old among active skaters.
Bedard entered the NHL at 18 years old and played his entire rookie campaign at that age, so in year three, he will have the entire season to put up points before turning 21. The sensation already has 10 goals and 26 points in 17 games and is sixth among active players in points before turning 21 years old.
Sidney Crosby ranks first in that regard and he isn’t being overtaken by Bedard. Crosby had 294 points before turning 21. Following him are four players who are reachable if Bedard continues on this pace.
Steven Stamkos had 213 points, Connor McDavid had 198 points, Patrik Laine had 184 points, and Patrick Kane had 161. Bedard is on Kane’s tail and should pass him in November.
Bedard was unfortunately injured as a rookie, missing 14 games, so he could have already passed Kane if he had stayed healthy. Considering Bedard hasn’t missed a game other than for that jaw injury, he appears durable enough to put up some excellent numbers throughout his career. He is very talented and is taking over games for the Blackhawks already.
At the pace Bedard is on, he will finish the 2025-26 season with 48 goals and 125 points. Let’s see if that holds.
