FRANCE have qualified for the 2026 World Cup after thrashing Ukraine 4-0 in Paris. Kylian Mbappé scored twice for France and Liverpool’s Hugo Ekitike netted his first goal for his country. Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise scored France’s other goal.

CIES Football Observatory has published its latest report on player wages, revealing that Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé is the highest-paid player in the world, with a gross annual salary of € 22.8 million.

NON-LEAGUE clubs are uniting in support of the 3UP campaign which is proposing three promotion places from the National League to the EFL. All 48 National league clubs are involved as well as 208 clubs from Step three of the non-league pyramid.
