How does this work?
A prominent holiday festival is set to return to one of Toronto’s most quaint neighborhoods.
The Annual Leslieville Wanderlust, which has been around for nearly two decades, is opening up to the public this weekend on Nov. 15.
According to the Leslieville Business Improvement Area (BIA), the event is scheduled to include numerous family-friendly activities and will feature countless Queen Street East vendors, businesses, and restaurants participating in the festivities.
Additional holiday fixtures during the day’s event also include Santa himself, who will be available for family meet and greets, a mini train that will take guests on rides throughout Leslie Grove Park, and marshmallows alongside roaring fires.
For when those fires die down, the BIA has also hinted at the Wanderlust after Dark event, where guests can pop into participating bars and restaurants to partake in a few specialty cocktails.
Warming stations and hot drink vendors will also be posted up throughout the neighbourhood day and night to ensure that this week’s recent winter blast won’t get in the way of any of the festivities.
The Annual Leslieville Wanderlust will kick off this Saturday from noon to 6 p.m., with evening programming running well into the night.
