Blackpool’s Tower Festival Headland is set to be transformed into a magical winter village. Christmas By The Sea will return to Blackpool from Saturday, November 21 until Sunday, January 4, bringing with it plenty of festive fun for all the family to enjoy.

The event will offer a skating rink, Christmas chalets, festive rides, light installations and artificial snow. Visitors will be able to stop for some authentic German Bratwurst, and cosy up with a mulled wine or hot chocolate.

Christmas By The Sea dates and opening times

Christmas By The Sea will run from Saturday, November 21 until Sunday, January 4 from 12pm to 9pm daily (except Christmas Day). Last admission to the skating rink will be 8pm.

How to get to Christmas By The Sea

Blackpool is well connected by motorway, with travel by car around one hour and 15 minutes from Liverpool city centre.

There are direct train services from Liverpool Lime Street to Blackpool North using Northern Rail. Direct links to Manchester International Airport, Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Victoria and York are also available.

Avanti West Coast runs direct services from London and Birmingham to Blackpool and also Glasgow and Edinburgh to Preston, where travellers can change onto Northern services to get to the resort.
