The Mount Dennis train station officially opened for GO and UP Express service on Sunday.

The station is located on Eglinton Avenue West between Weston Road and Black Creek Drive and connects to TTC bus service and the Kitchener GO.  It also adds as a stop for the UP Express train.

Non-express Kitchener GO trips will service the stop every 30 minutes on weekdays and every hour on weekends, according to Metrolinx. With the Union Pearson Express, it will take passengers about 13 minutes to get to Union station from Mount Dennis station, according to Metrolinx’s website.

The station will also be the western stop of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, once it is running. The Eglinton line was initially scheduled to open in 2020 and began construction in 2011, but its opening has been repeatedly delayed.
