I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2025 is nearly here, with a fresh group of celebrities preparing to face Ant and Dec’s notorious Bushtucker trials in the Australian jungle.

The ITV reality programme has been broadcast for over two decades, featuring numerous well-known personalities including Katie Price, Stacey Solomon, Gemma Collins, Caitlyn Jenner, Jamie Lynn Spears, Matt Hancock and Nigel Farage.

This year’s line-up features Emmerdale star Lisa Riley, Loose Women panellist Kelly Brook, Martin Kemp and Eddie Kadi, Alex Scott, Shona McGarty and Jack Osbourne.

A producer for I’m A Celebrity has already hinted this will be the “toughest” series to date, with Olly Nash telling The Daily Mail: “We need to see more celebrities earning their keep, that’s the most important thing,” reports the Express.

But what are they actually being paid for their three-week stint on the programme?

We’ve investigated the show’s highest-paid fees…

Coleen Rooney

Coleen Rooney reportedly secured the joint highest fee in the programme’s history when she joined the jungle last year, following her high-profile Wagatha Christie court case against Rebekah Vardy.

It was rumoured that the WAG pocketed £1.5million, and proved to be worth every penny as fans kept her in the show until the final.

She was narrowly beaten to the crown by McFly’s Danny Jones, while Reverend Richard Coles came in third place.

Nigel Farage

Nigel Farage also allegedly pocketed £1.5million when he appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2023, securing third place whilst Sam Thompson claimed the crown as King of the Jungle.

The reality personality later confessed he was stunned by Farage’s enormous fee, revealing to The Times: “Was he? Bloody hell! I didn’t have a clue. You could buy five houses for that!”

He went on to explain that his jungle experience wasn’t driven by financial gain or as a “career move”, declaring: “Mate, I would have done it for anything! I would have been a very, very easy negotiation. I would have paid them to be on it.”

Noel Edmonds

Noel Edmonds famously became the programme’s highest-paid participant at the time, despite enduring merely nine days in the jungle camp during the 2018 series.

He received £600,000, and as he entered last and departed first, reportedly earned £66,667 per day.

That series was claimed by Harry Redknapp who became the programme’s eldest victor when he was crowned King of the Jungle.

Boy George

Boy George once said he’d “never” need to do I’m A Celebrity(Image: ITV)

Initial reports suggested that Boy George, who featured in the 2022 series, was receiving £800,000 for I’m A Celebrity, though that amount later dropped to £500,000.

He pledged to give producers their money’s worth and certainly fulfilled that promise, stating: “I feel like I’ve been paid well for it so I’m going to be as Boy George as I can.”

Nevertheless, just months before, the Karma Chameleon singer had suggested he’d “never” require the programme for financial reasons, when Ant and Dec questioned him on Saturday Night Takeaway: “I’ve always wanted to know, what does Karma Chameleon mean?”

He cheekily responded: “It means I never have to say, ‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!'”

Caitlyn Jenner

In 2019, it was rumoured that Caitlyn Jenner pocketed £500,000 for her time on I’m A Celebrity, leading to a playful jest from hosts Ant and Dec.

Dec kicked off the banter with: “We’ve got reality TV royalty Caitlyn Jenner. Most people come into the jungle to lose a few pounds…”

Ant then chimed in with: “But she’s going to be gaining 500,000 of them according to the papers.”

Harry Redknapp

Harry Redknapp, who was crowned King of the Jungle in 2018, was also reportedly paid £500,000 for his stint on I’m A Celebrity.

He later revealed that ITV had offered him double what the BBC did for Strictly Come Dancing.

He confessed: “What happened was I’m a Celebrity came and offered me twice as much money so I went there instead!”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! returns on Sunday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
