‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’ Gets Shared Reality Experience From Cosm and Warner Bros. (EXCLUSIVE)

Cosm and Warner Brothers Pictures are teaming up to create a shared reality production of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.” It will debut at Cosm’s immersive reality venues in Los Angeles and Dallas, followed by releases at forthcoming venues in Detroit and Atlanta next year.
Produced with Little Cinema and MakeMake Entertainment, the immersive experience will transport audiences into the Wizarding World within Cosm’s 87-foot diameter LED domes, illuminated in Cosm’s full-dome filmmaking technology.
“Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” is the third Warner Bros. film that Cosm has adapted into a shared reality production, following their successful renditions of “The Matrix” and “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.”
Warner Bros.’ president of global distribution Jeff Goldstein states, “Following the enthusiasm for ‘The Matrix’ and ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory’ in shared reality, we are thrilled to continue our partnership with Cosm, Little Cinema and MakeMake with ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.’ This collaboration continues to redefine what the cinematic experience can be, offering audiences a truly unique way to celebrate these timeless films from the vast Warner Bros. library.”
Cosm’s president and CEO Jeb Terry adds, “‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’ at Cosm will be a magical experience, celebrating the film and the fandom that makes the wizarding world so special, with key elements like Butterbeer and Chocolate Frogs to delight guests alone the way.”
Warner Bros. released “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” in 2001 as the first of eight films adapted from J.K. Rowling’s seven-book “Harry Potter” series. The story is currently the source material for the first season of HBO’s upcoming “Harry Potter” TV series, which is expected to release in 2027.
Tickets for the “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” shared reality production in Los Angeles and Dallas will go on sale in early 2026.
