Coldplay’s frontman is reportedly dating Sophie Turner after splitting from long-time partner Dakota Johnson earlier this year. However, according to a new report, Paltrow’s interference in her ex-husband’s love life has not gone down well with him.

It appears Chris Martin reportedly feels Gwyneth Paltrow should stop interfering in his romantic matters. According to sources, Paltrow is dishing out advice to her ex-husband regarding his personal life.
The sources also added that she hopes to be included in double dates with his alleged new girlfriend, Sophie Turner. However, Martin has had enough and reportedly put his foot down (via Globe).
An insider shared, “Chris knows Gwyneth means well, but he just wants her to leave him alone and let him get on with it.” Paltrow famously coined the phrase “consciously uncoupling” and maintained a solid friendship with her former husband even after their divorce.
It is no secret that Martin’s ex-girlfriends, including Dakota Johnson, have shared a good rapport with Paltrow. Reportedly, Martin routinely consulted his ex-wife’s advice and allowed her to tag along on his dates. However, now sources reveal he has demanded Paltrow stay put.
An insider dishes, “Gwyneth acts like she’s got this divine right to be told everything that’s going on with Chris, especially when it comes to his love life.” Furthermore, the source added that Paltrow’s interference in their lives reportedly caused issues with Johnson.
The insider added, “He honored that for many years, and she became his de facto dating coach, a role that she absolutely relished. He even broke things off with some of his exes on Gwyneth’s advice. But it got suffocating and sometimes caused issues, especially with Dakota.”
Martin wants to take charge of his love life going forward and worries that Paltrow’s interference is “creeping” out the women he dates. The insider quipped, “Now Chris wants to move forward without Gwyneth’s interference. He worries it’s stifling him and creeping out the women he dates, which is fair.”
Reportedly, the Goop founder is not pleased with her ex-musician husband’s new avatar, but he refuses to give her a choice.
