I’m A Celebrity star dealt devastating blow in jungle just days into series

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! returned for an all-new series on Sunday evening, and Jack Osbourne was one of the bookies’ favourites following the launch show. Bookmaker Coral slashed Ozzy Osbourne’s son’s odds to 4-1 (from 8-1) to win the ITV reality show after the all-important launch night, which was watched by millions of viewers.
Coral’s John Hill said ahead of the opening show: “Jack Osbourne is the big mover in our betting following the launch of the new series. His odds have been slashed in half, as many punters are backing him to be crowned King of the Jungle.” However, the bookmakers are now saying it’s a “two-horse race” for this year’s I’m A Celebrity crown – in a crushing blow for Jack.
The bookies now have just two names priced shorter than 6/1 in the betting, with YouTuber Angry Ginge leading the way (7/4) ahead of rapper Aitch (2/1).
Their closest competition is Tom Read Wilson – but every other name, including Jack’s, is now 10/1 or bigger.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Punters have already whittled it down to two names in the race for this year’s jungle crown… it remains Angry Ginge’s to lose at the minute.”
Viewers have been finding Angry Ginge and Aitch hilarious when they are together in camp, with many fans flocking to X to comment on their friendship.
Other fans of the show are starting to warm up to Ruby Wax, having initially given the comedian a lukewarm reception. However, she appears to be growing on viewers who have taken to social media, calling her their “Queen of the Jungle”.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
