Reality star Vogue Williams has angrily hit back at claims that she is “heading for a breakup” with husband Spencer Matthews.

Speaking on her My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, she told co-presenter Joanne McNally that she had been informed about quotes from a source, who had alleged that she and Spencer were “headed for a breakup because they’re spending so much time apart.”

Playfully accusing Joanne of having been the anonymous source behind the rumours, Vogue said the only reason she could see for such wild speculation is that Spencer hadn’t been present in the photos for her “girls’ weekend” at the Glen Affric Estate in the Scottish Highlands.

She explained the rumours to Joanne, revealing: “It said, ‘Spencer and Vogue are headed for a breakup because they’re spending so much time apart’.

“And I could only assume it was because he wasn’t in my content for Affric, because he came up on the Saturday. But I’m like, maybe it’s because he’s going away as well on his thing for three weeks.”

But, she added, any couple should be allowed to pursue their own careers without false rumours of marital problems circulating: “But I’m like, can we not spend, like, any time apart?” She raged. “Do we have to be sewn together now to show that we’re a united front?”

The rumour mill will have more to talk about this week, as Vogue, along with Celebs Go Dating star Tom Read Wilson are reportedly set to enter the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! jungle on Thursday.

And she has vowed to cause mayhem in the camp. “I would not mind causing a bit of mischief, a bit like Traitors vibes,” she told the Mirror.

“I don’t want to annoy anyone, but I think I am very much willing to go along with the game.”

And Vogue is preparing for a long stay, too: “I have done all my Christmas shopping, ” she said. “I have done our food shops for the next four weeks. I have organised everything down to a tee because I kind of do all that stuff at home, so I have got everything organised so I do not have to worry when I get back.”

Vogue had been very cautious about keeping her late entry into the show a secret, diplomatically ignoring any questions from fans in Instagram who have been badgering her for I’m A Celeb info.

“I had to be careful telling my kids, because they have a bigger mouth than me,” she said. “I have ignored everybody who has been texting asking if it’s true? I am like, ‘ignore, ignore.’

“I showed the kids the last series to get them into it, and they absolutely loved it when people were having an absolute nightmare. So if I get thrown in with rats, that will be their dream.”
