AC/DC Sydney concerts: Here’s everything you need to know

Have you come down from your Oasis high? All good – Aussie rock ’n’ roll legends AC/DC are about to hit the stage at Accor Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park, following their Melbourne shows, as part of their highly anticipated Power Up Tour. It’s the first time the icons will play in Sydney in a decade – so you can expect two massive nights – this Friday, November 19, followed by Tuesday, November 25.
With a catalogue of rock anthems that includes ‘Back In Black’, ‘Highway to Hell’, ‘T.N.T.’ and ‘Thunderstruck’, we’re predicting an epic performance from the band – featuring the iconic line-up of Angus Young on lead guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and bass player Chris Chaney.
Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming AC/DC shows in Sydney.
When are ACDC in Sydney?
AC/DC will take to the stage at Sydney’s Accor Stadium for two concerts on Friday, November 21, and Tuesday, November 25.
How to get to the ACDC Sydney concerts
The shows are happening at Accor Stadium, inside Sydney Olympic Park, which is well-connected to public transport (free for concert-goers – just flash your concert ticket). The easiest and best way to get there is to catch a train from Central to Olympic Park station (trains will be departing Central and Strathfield every few minutes), and from there it’s a short walk to the stadium. Hundreds of additional trains and buses will be running both nights – so leave the car at home. If you must drive, you’ll need to pre-book parking – and note that spots in the carpark for Friday have already sold out. Find out more and plan your trip here.
Who will be support act for ACDC in Sydney?
Rowdy pub-rock band Amyl and the Sniffers will support AC/DC for the entirety of their Aussie tour – and you know they’ll be getting the crowd pumped up. For the Sydney shows only, locals Large Mirage will be hitting the stage.
What time will ACDC come on stage in Sydney?
Doors to Accor Stadium will open at 5pm. Large Mirage will hit the stage around 6.10pm, followed by Amyl and the Sniffers at 7pm. AC/DC is expected to start at 8.30pm.
What can I bring to the AC/DC Sydney shows?
