Jessie Diggins announces her retirement from cross-country skiing

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Jessie Diggins, the most decorated American cross-country skier in history, is retiring.
Diggins says she plans to hang up her skis after the 2026 Olympics.
The Stratton Mountain standout pulled off incredible feats throughout her career in winter sports, all while strutting her signature glittery face paint.
No other American has more than one cross-country Olympic medal. Diggins has won 3, solidifying her as one of the best to ever do it.
