Driver trapped under roadworks machine; man fights for life

The Shadow Minister for Communications has made a fresh Triple-0 warning.
Melissa McIntosh reminded thousands of Samsung customers on Friday about mobile phones with outdated software not being able to connect to the emergency network.
The new warning comes after a Sydney man died last week from from a suspected heart attack after desperate Triple-0 calls on the TPG Telecom network were unable to connect.
All customers with one of the 71 affected Samsung devices cannot currently reach Triple-0, and were alerted of this danger by their carriers as soon as the telcos were made aware, TPG Telecom told 7NEWS.com.au.
They were given 28 days from that first alert to update their phones, before being cut off from all Australian mobile networks, not just the emergency network they are already can’t connect to.
