DIGNITY ACT SECURES NEW NATIONAL ENDORSEMENTS AS FIRST MAJOR POLL SHOWS MOST AMERICANS SUPPORT THE PLAN

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The DIGNITY Act of 2025 (H.R.4393) is surging nationwide as a broad coalition of employers, faith leaders, community organizations, and bipartisan lawmakers continues to join its ranks. More than 50 national organizations now support the legislation, marking one of the strongest and most unified endorsements for any immigration reform proposal in decades.

“The Dignity Act brings an urgently needed solution to the United States’ broken immigration system,” said Representative María Elvira Salazar. “It secures our borders, restores law and order, and provides a responsible, earned process for millions of hard-working people who have lived here for years and contributed to our country. The Dignity Act lowers costs for Americans, strengthens our workforce, and gives hard-working men and women a path forward. It is not citizenship. It is not amnesty. It is dignity.”

The growing support comes as the first national poll on the DIGNITY Act shows that 51 percent of Americans support the plan, while only 33 percent oppose it, according to McLaughlin & Associates.

The survey found backing across all regions and political affiliations, with voters expressing strong interest in a solution that secures the border, protects American workers, and provides a responsible process for long-term immigrant workers. The results confirm that the Dignity Act aligns with what most Americans want from immigration reform: order, accountability, and stability.

The Dignity Act of 2025 is a serious, bipartisan proposal that:

  • Strengthens border security by increasing personnel, enforcing mandatory E-Verify, and restoring real operational control.
  • Protects American workers by ending illegal labor and creating the American Worker Fund, which retrains and upskills U.S. workers for better job opportunities.
  • Creates the Dignity Program, a strict and accountable process that requires long-term undocumented individuals with clean records to pay restitution, pass background checks, and earn legal status without citizenship or amnesty.
  • Supports American businesses by addressing labor shortages, boosting productivity, and giving employers a lawful, reliable workforce.
