Presenter Richard Osman and Irish comedians Vittorio Angelone and Kyla Cobbler will be among the guest’s on this week’s Late Late Show.

Friday night’s programme will also be lucky for some viewers, with the last tickets for this year’s Late Late Toy Show set to be given away live on air.

Osman will sit down with Patrick Kielty to chat about his success as a writer, including writing the novel The Thursday Murder Club, which was recently adapted for the screen as a Netflix film.

He will also be discussing his career in quiz shows, meeting his wife on the set of House of Games and he will be sharing the story of “his near brush with MI6 during his university day”.

Belfast comedian Angelone will be on the show chatting about his upbringing in an Italian-Irish family, training as a classical musician and carving out his place in the comedy world.

Kyla Cobbler will be making her first appearance on the Late Late Show, talking about her move from social media stardom to stand-up comedy.

She will tell Kielty about the experience of touring, why taking part in a marathon was a “huge mistake” and how she met her fiance while performing on stage.

Fermanagh country singer Lisa McHugh will be on the show discussing her recent diagnosis of functional neurological disorder. She will tell Kielty about receiving the diagnosis, taking a break from music to focus on recovery, and making her return to the stage.

In-studio entertainment will be provided by the cast of Moulin Rouge, who will be giving the audience a sneak peak of what to expect when they bring the show to Dublin in December.

The Late Late Show airs on Friday from 9.35pm on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
