Springbok star Faf de Klerk welcomes second child

Springbok and Canon Eagles scrumhalf Faf de Klerk welcomed his second child on Thursday. The rugby star and wife, Miné van Niekerk, celebrated the birth of daughter Yuke.
Just like mom and dad she sports the same golden locks.
The couple married in 2022 and welcomed their first child last year. They occasionally share family moments with followers on social media platforms.
De Klerk and Van Niekerk announced their pregnancy in June this year. The couple confirmed they expected a girl during the announcement.
They welcomed baby Yuke on Thursday 20 November. The proud parents shared beautiful photographs of their daughter on Instagram.
The social media post carried the simple caption “Yuke De Klerk”. Fellow Springboks players responded with congratulatory messages.
Springboks centre Jesse Kriel joined teammates in celebrating the family news. Comments flooded the post from family members, friends and rugby fans.
De Klerk remains a fan favourite in South African rugby circles. The former Sale Sharks player last represented South Africa during mid-year fixtures. He played against Italy and Georgia in those international matches.
The break allows him to spend precious moments with his growing household He moved to Japan after completing his stint in English rugby.
Van Niekerk frequently supports her husband at rugby matches around the world. The couple often travel together during De Klerk’s playing commitments.
The Springbok scrumhalf has earned 59 caps for his country since 2016. He played crucial roles in South Africa’s 2019 and 2023 World Cup victories.
