Bam Rodriguez dominates, knocks out Fernando Martinez to unify three world titles

Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez unified three of the four world titles at super flyweight, having it pretty much all his way en route to a 10th round knockout win over Fernando Martinez.
Martinez (18-1, 9 KO) lost the WBA title in the defeat, which Rodriguez added to the WBC and WBO belts he already held coming in.
The 25-year-old “Bam” dominated the bout, arguably not losing a single round and looking maybe better than ever, just looking a full level above a man who had earned being called the No. 2 man at 115 lbs. Rodriguez simply made it clear how wide of a gap there was between No. 1 and No. 2.
The victory puts Rodriguez one belt shy of an undisputed claim at super flyweight, for whatever that’s truly worth. Willibaldo Garcia holds the IBF title, and will defend in Riyadh on December 27 against Kenshiro Teraji. The winner of that bout could line up next for “Bam” in the spring of 2026.
