WV’s own Jennifer Garner visits Fayette County schools to promote Save the Children programs

FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. (WVVA) – Fayette County Schools welcomed Save the Children advocate and West Virginia native Jennifer Garner for a visit highlighting the nonprofit’s work and local partnerships that support students and families.
Garner met with representatives from Save the Children, Fayette County Schools and NRP. Also present were Superintendent David Warvel and Associate Superintendent Dawn Dooley. A photo of the group was taken during the visit.
The visit provided an opportunity for local educators and program leaders to discuss ongoing efforts to support early learning, school readiness and student well-being. Save the Children works with school systems and community partners to provide resources and programs aimed at improving outcomes for children, and Garner’s role as an advocate focuses public attention on those efforts.
Fayette County Schools said the visit underscored the importance of partnerships between schools and community organizations in expanding services and supports for students and families. School officials thanked Garner and Save the Children staff for their commitment to the community and their continued collaboration.
