Glen Powell two-steps through Austin honky-tonks ahead of A24 thriller release

Austin — Celeb sightings? Cool. But Glen Powell proves the real flex is two-steppin’ at your hometown honky-tonk. The “Top Gun: Maverick” star was spotted this weekend tearing up the dance floor at Donn’s Depot, Austin’s 50-year-old honky-tonk hotspot where the neon lights never sleep.

Powell’s appearance comes barely a month after he channeled Dua Lipa vibes at The Broken Spoke, another iconic Austin honky-tonk known for hosting locals, tourists and celebrities alike. And he’s not alone—famous faces have been drawn to these spots before.

Fans didn’t just notice his style. Many spotted a blonde woman who looks like Michelle Randolph (“1923,” “Landman”) hanging nearby. The duo had previously been seen together after Powell’s “Saturday Night Lights” hosting gig earlier this month. Another TikTok from @danielle.guilbot even caught the pair two-stepping at The Broken Spoke this weekend.

On top of hometown hangs, Powell has big Hollywood news: he’s heading back to theaters early next year as the lead of A24’s freshly titled thriller “How to Make a Killing.”

The actor’s upcoming slate also includes J.J. Abrams’ “Ghostwriter” with Jenna Ortega, Emma Mackey, and Samuel L. Jackson, plus he can currently be seen in Paramount’s “The Running Man” in theaters.
