Ange Postecoglou has had an incredibly busy six months since winning the Europa League with Tottenham.
Postecoglou was sacked by Tottenham for the team’s underperformance in the league, as he led them to a 17th-placed finish in 2024-25.
Thomas Frank replaced Postecoglou in N17 over the summer, and he has made a mixed start to the season.
It wasn’t long before the Aussie was back in management, but his disastrous spell at Nottingham Forest lasted just 39 days as he was sacked on 18 October after a dismal winless run.
However, it might not be too long before the former Tottenham manager is back in another dugout, as links with Fulham begin to intensify.

Ange Postecoglou in line to replace Marco Silva as next Fulham manager
Postecoglou has also been linked with the Leeds job in the past and he is now being touted for a move to South London.
Marco Silva has done a brilliant job at Fulham by turning them into an established Premier League team, but they’ve had a fairly underwhelming start to the season.
Fulham recorded a huge 1-0 win over Sunderland on Saturday to leave them 15th in the Premier League table, although that hasn’t stopped speculation over Silva’s future.

The Australian manager’s record at Forest hasn’t deterred clubs from being interested in his services, and his unique style of play could be of interest to Fulham.
The betting market has now opened on Fulham finding a replacement for Silva, and Postecoglou is one of the leading candidates.

Scott Parker (3/1), Roberto De Zerbi (4/1), Kjetil Knutsen (5/1), and Erik ten Hag (5/1) are all among the front-runners for the role if Silva were to leave Fulham.
Fulham would be foolish to place faith in Ange Postecoglou
Postecoglou’s woeful reign at Nottingham Forest was a damning reflection on how his philosophy isn’t suitable for the top flight.
As the Premier League becomes more physical, there is a heavier reliance on set-pieces, which is something that the 60-year-old never paid much attention to.
Defensive stability is the furthest thing he offers to a team, and for teams on lower budgets, they can’t afford to be so poor off the ball.
Fulham shouldn’t plan on sacking Silva, but if they do, Postecoglou is one of the last candidates they should consider.
