Liverpool FC stormed to the Premier League title in the
2024/25 season, wrapping up the league on Sunday 28 April after thrashing
Tottenham 5-1 at Anfield.

Within days, Liverpool Council announced a victory parade
would take place the following month on 26 May.

Hundreds of thousands of fans took to the streets to watch
an open-top bus carrying the players make its way through the city.

Shortly after the bus passed along the waterfront in
Liverpool city centre, a Ford Galaxy Titanium car drove into a dense crowd of
people making their way along Water Street, a double-laned one-way street lined
with bars, restaurants and businesses.

More than 130 people were injured, including babies and
children.
