I’M A Celeb star Tom Read Wilson is not putting on act in the jungle, insists his Celebs Go Dating co-star Anna Williamson.
Late arrival Tom had the camp and nation talking when he arrived and began using his posh voice and extensive vocabulary.

Rapper Aitch asked him outright if it was real on their first night together in camp, and was surprised to learn that it was.
Literary Tom has since shown a flair for accents and perfectly mimicked Aitch as well as doing his best cockney geezer, before returning to his more erudite tongue.
Speaking to The Sun, Anna says that what you see is what you get, and Tom is being nothing other than his authentic self.
“Everybody is seeing exactly who Tom is,” she says. “There is no act. It’s really funny, all the stuff around his accent and voice.

“I’m so used to Tom being Tom, and Tom speaking as he does, which is his usual very posh voice. To hear such conversation around it, is it real, isn’t it, when he does his accent is really funny. I can confirm Tom does speak how Tom speaks, as in his normal voice.
“It’s lovely to see him doing his thing, but it’s also really lovely to see him being so accurately represented, which is that he is unflappable, he’s very kind, he’s very funny and he’s hugely likeable.”
After a difficult start that saw Tom and fellow latecomer Vogue Williams taking on the unenviable roles of camp leaders, the pair finally hit their stride when they were demoted to regular campmates.
It allowed them to be at ease and feel part of the team, and now it feels like they’ve always been there.

Though there hasn’t been an elimination yet and the finish line is over 10 days away, Anna is backing “perfect” Tom to go all the way.
“The minute that we got a whiff that Tom was going in, Paul Brunson and I said to each other, ‘that’s it. He’s absolutely a front-runner, the king of the jungle’,” she says.
“And I don’t just say that as a friend, obviously, and a colleague, but I think he represents everything that’s good about the world. In a world that can be so dark and shady, Tom is the complete antidote.
“So I think it would be wonderful. It’s a tough year because I think actually there are so many really likeable people in there.”
It’s not just softly spoken Tom’s voice that has caused a stir, his ripped physique has too.
But it’s no surprise to those who know him well.
The TV personality loves staying in shape in the gym, and often has a workout before filming for Celebs Go Dating.
“He goes to the gym all the time,” says Anna. “He’s always taking part in classes. Hyrox or CrossFit. It’s one of those ones that he does. Tom loves to work out.
“He also loves a bath. He’s very well kept. He takes care of his appearance, his physical health, his mental health.
“He is a bit of a gym bunny.”
If he does win the show, Anna is hoping Tom will still return to work at the agency next year, and hopes he’ll bring some jungle delicacies with him.
“I’m just hoping he’s going to bring a few Bushtucker Trials for us all to try,” she laughs.
“Maybe he could get Paul and myself to eat camel penis.”
