Boy stabbed at Melbourne school

Police say a boy has been treated for non-life-threatening injuries after a reported stabbing at a primary school in Melbourne’s south-east.
Investigators say they understand the boy was stabbed on the grounds of the school on Bemersyde Drive in Berwick about 9am.
It’s understood the incident took place at Brentwood Park Primary School, which was briefly put into lockdown during the incident.
The boy was treated by paramedics at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say a woman also sustained minor injuries.
An 11-year-old boy was located and spoken to by police.
The boy is not currently in custody.
