Aitch’s friend has opened up about his ‘relationship’ with Shona
Aitch and Shona McCarty could be a “nice couple”, according to the rapper’s close friend and manager, Via Culpan.
Culpan shared her thoughts on the speculated budding romance between the rapper and EastEnders star as she touched down at Brisbane Airport today. When quizzed if they’d make a good pair, Via responded: “They’re both nice people. I’m not sure but yeah! I don’t know.”
However, she added: “I personally think it’s more of a brother-sister relationship.” She lauded Aitch’s performance in the jungle, stating: “He’s smashed it, he’s done so well. He was scared about the eating trials but he’s smashed it.”
Her remarks follow those made by Shona’s sister Camilla, who arrived yesterday and also had something to say about Aitch.
Aitch’s manager Via Culpan has landed in Aus
She commented: “He is a nice guy…I would definitely have him around for Christmas.”
Aitch opened up about his feelings for Shona to Angry Ginge last week, confessing: “I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Shona, me.”
This sparked Ant and Dec to express their hopes for a jungle romance this year on the show. However, Camilla stated that she needed more proof that a romantic relationship was actually developing.
She added: “I don’t know if I see it romantically…it might just be a brother and sister relationship but I don’t know…I don’t think we have seen enough to make a definite decision on it.”

Shona ended her engagement with musician David Bracken earlier this year. Insiders report the split was friendly, and he recently wished her luck for the jungle on social media.
Aitch is currently single, having parted ways with Lois Cottam prior to entering the Jungle.
Dec previously expressed his surprise at Aitch’s remarks, having viewed the scenes just before they were broadcast on Friday night.
He commented: “This came completely out of the blue this morning.”
Ant chimed in: “It’s been a while since we’ve had a proper romance on this show. We’d love to see it….we would celebrate it.”
The speculation over a jungle romance started while Ginge and Aitch decided to take a plunge at the creek recently – providing them with an opportunity to discuss their fellow contestants privately.
Shona’s sister welcomed Aitch for Christmas
Aitch confided in Ginge about something that had been on his mind, admitting: “I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Shona, me.”
Ginge replied: “I think she’s really nice, if that’s what you mean yeah..” Aitch confirmed: “Yeah that’s what I mean.” Ginge agreed with a nod: “Yeah she is.”
Earlier in the show, fresh arrivals Vogue and Tom had been speculating about the potential romance. Vogue remarked: “Her and Aitch are single now.” Tom gushed: “They would make a gorgeous pair.”
Vogue noted: “They’re the same age,” while Tom added: “They both have those bright, bright blue eyes.” Vogue giggled as she continued: “And they both love music.”
