Flowers leads Ravens in receiving during win over Jets as passing game struggles continue

In a decisive 23-10 victory over the Jets, Flowers emerged as a pivotal player, catching five of six targets for 58 yards and adding a noteworthy contribution on the ground with two rushes for 11 yards. His performance highlighted his role as the primary receiving option for quarterback Lamar Jackson, who managed to throw for a total of 153 yards—impressively, 58 of those yards went directly to Flowers.

While the Ravens’ offense has struggled in recent games, with Jackson throwing for under 200 yards in each of his last three outings and posting just one touchdown pass during that stretch, Flowers has consistently been a bright spot. Despite the overall challenges faced by the passing game, including a lack of production from his teammates (none of whom surpassed 30 receiving yards in the Jets game), Flowers has demonstrated his reliability.

Throughout the season, he has amassed 58 receptions on 77 targets, totaling 761 yards; however, he has yet to find the end zone, with only one touchdown to his name as the Ravens prepare for an important matchup against the Bengals on Thanksgiving night. As the team looks to revitalize their passing attack, all eyes will be on Flowers to see if he can continue to perform and aid Jackson in breaking the recent trends of underwhelming aerial statistics.
