Randle crash halts Friday Adelaide Supercars race

THOMAS Randle has become Supercars’ first 2025 victim of the Turn 8 wall in an incident that has halted the Friday race at the bp Adelaide Grand Final.
The weather-affected contest was red flagged after 22 of the 32 laps, given the need for repairs to the concrete fence.
Randle hit the wall hard on Lap 20, leaving his Castrol Mustang badly damaged and needing to be parked up at Turn 9.
Brodie Kostecki leads from Chaz Mostert, Ryan Wood, Broc Feeney and Cam Waters, who has a 15-second penalty hanging over his head (for contact with Cooper Murray).
Randle had also collected a 15-second penalty for spinning Will Brown early in the piece.
Update: The race will not be resumed.
