Rohit Sharma attained another massive milestone in ODI cricket.
The veteran batter completed 11,500 runs in ODIs. Rohit got to the feat with his 59th run in the 3rd ODI versus South Africa in Vizag on Saturday.
Rohit, who surpassed 20,000 international runs earlier in this knock, is now the 9th batter in ODI history with 11,500-plus runs.

Rohit and Jaiswal hand India a strong start
Rohit completed his fifty in the 20th over of India’s innings. He took 54 balls to get to the mark.
Chasing 271 runs to win, Rohit and Yashasvi Jaiswal handed India a strong start. The two put on a 155-run stand for the first wicket.
Jaiswal toiled hard whereas Rohit played his shots when needed.
Both players settled in nicely.
Rohit perishes for 75 runs
Rohit, who took his time in the middle, built his innings to perfection as his innings progressed. He ended up scoring 75 runs from 73 balls with 7 fours and three sixes. Spinner Keshav Maharaj dismissed Rohit in the 26th over.
Rohit joins these ODI batting legends
Playing his 279th ODI (271 innings), Rohit has surpassed 11,500 runs (11.516) at 49.21.
He smashed his 61st ODI fifty in addition to owning 33 tons.
Rohit has joined Sachin Tendulkar (18,426), Virat Kohli (14,492), Kumar Sangakkara (14,234), Ricky Ponting (13,704), Sanath Jayasuriya (13,430), Mahela Jayawardene (12,650), Inzamam-ul-Haq (11,739) and Jacques Kallis (11,579) as batters to have scored 14,500-plus ODI runs.
Rohit races to 952 ODI runs versus South Africa
As many as 952 of Rohit’s ODI runs have come against the Proteas. In 29 matches, Rohit averages 35.25. This was his 4th ODI fifty against South Africa (100s: 3). As per ESPNcricinfo, Rohit has gone past 100 fours versus South Africa (101).
4th Indian to hammer 20,000 international runs
Earlier, Rohit achieved another achievement in international cricket.
He completed 20,000 runs across formats, a feat achieved by only 14 players, including Rohit.
Rohit attained this feat with his 27th run in Vizag.
Rohit became the fourth Indian player with 20,000 runs in international cricket.
The former Indian skipper joined Tendulkar (34,357), Kohli (27,910), and Rahul Dravid (24,064).
