Here’s The ‘Fortnite’ Zero Hour Launch Time For Its Chapter 6 Ending Event

Fortnite is about to flip over to another chapter, always a big event given that we have only had six of these in the entire lifespan of the game. We are leaving Chapter 6 and heading to Chapter 7, which will take place tomorrow, Saturday, November 29, on this Thanksgiving holiday weekend. So, I hope you’re not traveling without a device that can play Fortnite.
The event is a one-time-only affair, like most of Fortnite’s Chapter events, because well, the entire map is about to be wiped entirely or at least change dramatically, so there’s no going back from that. This is not, for instance, a map-based concert event that can air multiple times. Be there or…watch it on YouTube.
When Is The Fortnite Zero Hour Event Launch Time?
So, the release time for the Zero Hour event is at 11 AM PT, 2 PM ET, 8 PM GMT. However, the additional piece of information you need to know is that doors open for the event 40 minutes early so you can “secure your spot.” This is a must, given that servers can be overwhelmed and in the past, it’s been easy to miss the event through technical issues alone because of how many people are logging in at once. This will be a special playlist that appears, so you do not have to hang out at some random place on the existing map.
We know at least a few things about the event, including many of the recent collab characters that will appear. So far that includes:
Play Puzzles & Games on Forbes
- Superman
- A Star Wars Destroyer alongside X-Wings
- The Bride from Kill Bill
- Megazord from Power Rangers
- A DeLorean from Back to the Future
- The Scooby Doo Gang
- A Giant Nearly Nude Homer Simpson
- Godzilla and King Kong
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- Fall Guys
- Mortal Kombat
- Halo
- Hatsune Miku
- HUNTR/X from KPop Demon Hunters
There are likely more in there, and this is probably the most licensed characters we’ve seen for a single event. I can’t say I’m terribly surprised, given that Fortnite has upped its rate of collabs to close to one a week at this rate. It’s latest is a grand crossover to mark the release of Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, which includes three skins, the “meow” wagon, and an entire animated sequence of a storyline cut from the original film. Yeah, things are getting weird out here. The Bride and Marty McFly are two of the licensed characters who will arrive with Chapter 7.
Here’s the trailer for the Zero Hour event, which heavily features Godzilla, King Kong, Homer and The Bride. The goal here is to kill the looming “Dark Presence,” which should be one of the most powerful villains the world of Fortnite has ever faced.
After this, the game will go down for maintenance, and we’ll have a schedule for the release time of chapter 7 soon.
