Julia Roberts marked her twins’ milestone 21st birthday in the sweetest way.
Roberts, 58, shared a rare throwback baby photo via Instagram of daughter Hazel and son Phinnaeus to celebrate the sibling duo turning 21 on Friday, November 28. In the picture from when they were infants, Hazel and Phinnaeus sat side by side in high chairs while eating cake. Blue and pink gift bags sat on the table behind them.
“These game changers, life alterers, ❤️expanders once were 1 and now are 21! That was fast 😭 Happy Birthday my Dears 🎉💥⚡🎁,” Roberts’ touching caption read alongside the photo.
Roberts, who shares the twins along and younger son Henry, 18, with husband Danny Moder, earned sweet comments on the post.

Prior to celebrating the twins’ birthday, Roberts opened up about her kids leaving home to go to college.
“It’s all fun. Honestly it is all so delicious and my kids … I know everyone thinks their kids are great … well. I think my kids are great,” she quipped during an October episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. “I just love hanging out with them and spending time with them and fortunately we have had lots of visits along the way of this emptiness.”

Roberts also discussed her parenting style while sitting down with longtime pal George Clooney in 72 Magazine in September.
George, 64, who shares 8-year-old twins Alexander and Ella with wife Amal Clooney, asked Roberts if she and Moder were able to “find ways” to teach their kids “values” ”because it’s “hard to raise kids with deep core values in a world where values aren’t necessarily the No. 1 thing respected by everyone.”
“You know, we all want our kids to grow up with values,” the After the Hunt star responded. “This is what we want as parents. I think part of it is just Danny and I are definitely aligned in our core values and always have been. And I think when kids are little, kids only know what you let them know. I can’t even tell you how old my kids probably were when they really understood my place in a work world.”

Roberts then gave Clooney one vital piece of parenting advice she learned from raising her children: “Do not be afraid.”
“They don’t wake up as monsters one day,” she told him. “They don’t turn 13 and hate you. They don’t turn 16 and hate you. You just have to hang in there and things shift and then the boat rights itself again. It’s such a magnificent thing to be part of this family.”
Roberts and Moder shared another rare look at their family in a photo featuring all three of their kids earlier this year. “Mothers make the coolest stuff. Love these guys,” Moder captioned the smiley snapshot of his wife and children via his Instagram page on Mother’s Day in May.
