Vanessa Hudgens has confirmed she has given birth to her second child, but not without a mention of what labour really looks like for a mum.
Though no details of gender or name have been shared, the High School Musical star, 36, confirmed the exciting arrival on Instagram.
“Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!!” she cheered.
“What a wild ride labor is. Big shout out to all the moms. It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do.”
The news is shared along with a snap of Hudgens lying in her hospital bed, attached to monitors and clutching the hand of who we can only assume to be husband Cole Tucker.
The body is indeed an incredible thing, and in a follow up update shared via her Instagram stories, the new mum shared a snap of what labour can also really do.
Still no photo of the baby, but this time one of mum nursing a bloodshot eye.
“Labor: Poppin out babies and blood vessels loooool,” she captioned the shot.
Hudgens and her professional baseball player beau, 29, announced their second pregnancy back in July.
“Round two,” she shared online, along with some gorgeous couple shots with her growing belly exposed.
Her post was filled with love and congratulatory messages from her A-list pals and fans.
“Congratulations!!!,” fellow child star Demi Lovato wrote.
“Ohhh congratulations my love!” Jenna Dewan also commented.
And Mario Lopez noted the close age gap between both kids: “That was quick! CONGRATS.”
Hudgens and Tucker welcomed their first child just a year earlier in July 2024.
Their name and gender remain private, much like their latest arrival’s details.
While she is reluctant to share private details of her little ones, the star told E! News that every career decision she has made was shaped by the idea of having a family one day.
“I’ll show my kids all my work. That’s why I chose things along the way in my career. I wanted to make sure that when I did have kids, there would be something for them to watch at every age,” she said.
Hudgens was previously romantically linked with High School Musical co-star Zac Efron as well as Elvis star Austin Butler, whom she dated for nine years.
