The Indianapolis Colts (8-3) host an AFC South rival, the Houston Texans (6-5), today in NFL Week 13 action. Both teams have intriguing quarterback storylines.
Colts quarterback Daniel Jones reportedly has a break in his left leg, though he is playing. Texans QB C.J. Stroud (concussion) is back missing after missing three games, all Houston wins with Davis Mills at the helm.

Kenny Moore is called for pass interference on a 3rd-and-15 play, giving Houston the ball at the Indianapolis 17. Colts coach Shane Steichen is irate that delay of game is not called against the Texans.

The Colts get the ball at the Houston 12 as Alec Pierce is interfered with on 3rd-and-19. That’s a 32-yard penalty.
Josh Downs keeps his feet in for a 34-yard catch on 3rd down.
Texans 13, Colts 6, 6:47 left 3Q: Ka’imi Fairbairn hits a 43-yard field goal after an Adetomiwa Adebawore sack on 3rd down. Houston is starting to dominate time of possession (24+ minutes to 14+ for Indy), converting 3 3rd-down plays on the drive, which uses more than 8 minutes.
Texans 10, Colts 6: C.J. Stroud’s Hail Mary pass at the end of the half falls incomplete. Colts receiver Alec Pierce knocks down the pass.
- Daniel Jones is 8-of-14 for 116 yards, including a touchdown to Alex Pierce (3 catches, 56 yards). Jonathan Taylor has 10 carries for 40 yards.
- C.J. Stroud is 13-of-22 passing for 153 yards. Nico Collins has 4 catches for 69 yards. Nick Chubb has a rushing touchdown and Ka’imi Fairbairn a field goal.
Texans 10, Colts 6, 5:08 left 2Q: Nick Chubb runs 4 yards for a touchdown. Houston running back Woody Marks, who had left the game with an ankle injury, runs for 16 yards.
Colts 6, Texans 3, 8:41 left 2Q: Alec Pierce catches the Daniel Jones pass in the back of the end zone for a 19-yard touchdown. Michael Badgley misses the PAT off the upright. Jones has two completions to Pierce on that drive for 38 yards.
