College Basketball prediction, pick for Texas Tech vs. Wyoming on Sunday 11/30/25

Ryan Wohl gives his college basketball analysis and pick for Texas Tech vs. Wyoming on Sunday, November 30.
The best game of Sunday’s college basketball slate is between Texas Tech and Wyoming at 3:00 p.m. ET. The Red Raiders have a 5-2 record while the Cowboys are currently 6-1 this season. These two teams have met 12 times, with the all-time series standing at 6-6. Texas Tech has won three of the previous four matchups against Wyoming.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Texas Tech is a -19.5-point favorite. Here is my best bet for today’s Texas Tech vs. Wyoming game.
Texas Tech vs. Wyoming (3:00 p.m. ET)
Although the Red Raiders have had their ups and downs this season, they are still the much better team. Last week, Texas Tech lost its second game of the year to Purdue 86-56. But they bounced back with a 32-point victory against New Orleans. Texas Tech is ranked No. 22 on KenPom while Wyoming is No. 114. Wyoming has an offensive rating of 108.1, which is 151st in the country.
JT Toppin and Christian Anderson are Texas Tech’s best two players. Toppin is averaging 21.3 points and 11.3 rebounds per game, while Anderson is recording 18.6 points along with 7.1 assists per contest. Wyoming has four players averaging double-digit points per game, with Leland Walker leading the way with 12.6. The Cowboys average almost five more points per contest than Texas Tech does.
Texas Tech has lost to both top-15 teams it has faced this season, but has found a ton of success against lower-level competition. Their five wins this season have come by 38, 21, 17, one, and 32 points. Wyoming’s offense has been inconsistent this season, scoring 79 or fewer points in three of its previous five games. Also, this is a massive step up in competition for the Cowboys, who have yet to face a team from a major conference this year. Given that, it is likely Texas Tech will cover the spread of -19.5 against Wyoming.
