The new season of I’m A Celebrity… Get me Out of Here! is in full swing and people are loving this year’s line up.

Celebs Go Dating fave Tom Read-Wilson is pulling in all the likes with his impressions, Angry Ginge aka Morgan is an unexpected national treasure and the icon that is Ruby Wax is keeping everyone entertained with her antics. Not forgetting the will/they won’t they romance between Eastenders actress Shona McGarty and rapper, Aitch. It’s like Ross and Rachel; the Jungle version.
Luckily for this year’s camp mates, they are set up in Australia and yes sharing a hammock with a spider the size of your fist isn’t exactly a dream, it has to be better than when a bunch of celebrities were dumped in the middle of a Welsh castle (in November)?
One such contestant who took part in I’m A Celeb during it’s Gwrych Castle era is influencer, author and podcast host, Giovanna Fletcher.

We recently caught up with Giovanna, who not only featured on the series in 2020, but only went and won it, beating fave Jordan North.
‘Because our year was in Wales, it was very, very different,’ Giovanna confessed, comparing the show to these year’s series, ‘they would turn the cameras away sometimes. A lot of the women discovered early on, if they showered – I didn’t – but if you showered nude, they would pan away.’
In this day and age you would think it would be common courtesy to allow people to shower in peace. Sure, the famous faces are taking part in a reality TV show, but being able to have a wash in private seems like it goes without saying.
‘They won’t show it,’ she went on, ‘so, actually, the biggest tip [is] shower naked, they can’t use it anyway.’

‘But I kind of feel a bit of a shame that that’s… it’s 2025,’ she began before saying what we are all thinking, ‘how are we doing bikini shots? That’s not what I’m a Celeb is about.’
Louder for the people at the back, Giovanna.
Can we just let the likes of Vogue Williams, Shona and the rest of the cast shower without the worry that people are discussing what they look like in a bikini?
