Travis Barker collaborator dead at 26

Emo rapper and musician Poorstacy — who frequently collaborated with Travis Barker — died at age 26.
The Palm Beach County Medical Examiner confirmed the musician’s death to Page Six Monday.
The Boca Raton Police Department confirmed to Billboard that Florida-born rapper, whose real name is Carlito Milfort, died Saturday after an “incident.”

Authorities were reportedly called to a hotel in Boca Raton on Saturday, and the rapper was taken to a nearby hospital.
Page Six reached out to the Boca Raton Police Department but they were not immediately available for comment.
Poorstacy’s cause of death has not been confirmed, but distraught fans have flooded his social media comments with messages that indicate that they think he died by suicide.
“You just NEVER know how severe someone’s mental pain is…. rest up stacy 🖤,” one fan commented on his last Instagram post.

Hundreds of other fans thanked the up-and-coming artist for him and his music getting them through hard times.
Poorstacy created music that merges hip hop, punk rock and heavy metal. The Palm Beach native released two studio albums and two EPs, gaining a loyal fanbase.

The Blink-182 drummer has yet to speak out on the rapper’s death.
Poorstacy also collaborated with singer and rapper Iann Dior and was featured on the Grammy- nominated “Bill & Ted Face the Music” soundtrack.
