The Voice’s Top 6 for Season 28 Will Be Determined in an Unprecedented Way

How to Watch
Watch The Voice Mondays at 9/8c on NBC and next day on Peacock.
The Coaches may not have any Saves left after the Battle Rounds…but you, the viewers, do. Things are a little different this season on The Voice, with the audience getting a say in which Artists make it from the Playoffs to the Live Finale, giving two lucky singers a second chance at their shot at stardom.
For Season 28, Coaches Reba McEntire, Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg and Niall Horan can only choose one Artist from their team as their “finalist” to represent them in the Live Shows, sadly (potentially) sending the other three members of their team home. But before they’re entirely eliminated, those Artists go into a pool that gets voted on by the fans. Here’s how it works:
On the December 1 episode of the Playoffs, Team Reba and Team Bublé will both perform, and those Coaches will select their finalists, leaving six remaining Artists. That night, viewers can go to NBC.com/VoiceVote or use the Voice App to cast their vote for one of those six not-selected Artists to make it through to the Live Finale.
On the December 8 episode of the Playoffs, the same thing will happen with Team Snoop and Team Niall., giving us a total of six Artists in the Live Finale on December 15! Of course, as always, voters will decide who ultimately wins The Voice, which will be revealed the next evening, December 16.
There’s also a big reveal coming on The Voice‘s December 8 episode
But wait, wasn’t there just another vote? Yes, the Mic Drop competition took place during the Knockouts, but the winner won’t be revealed until the end of the Playoffs! In case you missed it, each Coach got to press their button for one stellar “Mic Drop” Artist they wanted to see entertain the crowd at the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day, and voters chose the winner online. But we won’t know who scored that prize until the December 8 episode, so tune in at 9/8c on NBC.
