Spencer Matthews has broken his silence as his wife Vogue Williams became the third celebrity to be voted off I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
Her departure swiftly followed that of comedian Eddie Kadi, who was voted out on Sunday (November 30), while sports broadcaster Alex Scott was the first celebrity to be voted off the ITV reality show on Friday night (November 28).
But Vogue, who was a latecomer to camp alongside Tom Read Wilson, admitted she was “sad to leave” the jungle behind. Asked how it feels to be out of the jungle, she said: “It feels good.
“It was getting pretty hard, I’m so hungry, but it’s such a weird thing, because you kind of want to stay as well, because it’s so fun in there. You’re just doing so many random things, and like everyone is such good fun. And yeah, I’ll be sad to leave.”
After watching her jungle highlights, the Irish presenter said she hates cockroaches, but now she feels like her fear of cockroaches is gone. “I think what got to us most was the hunger,” she said. “I don’t think you realise how hungry we are in there, we’re absolutely starving. And when you do get something, it just tastes like nothing anyway, it’s all kind of just mush.”
Now, former Made in Chelsea star Spencer has spoken about his wife’s I’m A Celeb exit, with her stint on the popular programme coming as he takes on seven Ironman-distance triathlons across seven continents in just 21 days.

Spencer, who has been married to Vogue since 2018 and share three children together – said on Instagram: “Disappointed to hear that my gorgeous Vogue is out of I’m A Celeb but I’m so proud of the brave stint she did in there.
“She showed heart, courage and fearlessness in challenges and, as always, was such a positive and pragmatic figure in camp! I would have loved nothing more than to have been there for her when she came out and am sending so much love from Antarctica.
“On the positive side, we can now all FaceTime – I know she will have missed the kids like mad and I can’t wait to hear her voice and for us to all be reunited next week.”
And fans were quick to show their support. @lavaniya85 said: “She was amazing and came across so well. She smashed the trials especially the solo one!!! Definitely voted off too soon but glad she can speak to you and the kids now.” @amanda9940smith commented: “Can’t believe Vogue has left the jungle. She was definitely my winner and has been absolutely amazing in there what a lady.”
@ebarmby shared: “She was absolutely brilliant in there! Gutted she’s been voted out!! Sending you lots of love and positive vibes for your last Ironman in Antarctica too Spencer.” @carol.oneill.560 added: “She didn’t deserve to come out yet. She was amazing and fearless funny and kind and she should be so proud of what she achieved. Best of Luck on this last leg Spencer you are such a warrior.”
