The end of a huge tour for Oasis and a major festival announcement for Elton John brought some of Live4ever’s biggest headlines last week.

Oasis brought the curtain down on their epic Live 25 comeback tour in Sao Paulo, Brazil last week (November 23rd) with the same unrivalled greatest hits set which has been wowing hundreds of thousands of fans around the world.

It was the band’s second night at the city’s Estadio Morumbis, the end of the tour’s South American leg which has also stopped in Argentina and Chile.

Live4ever was there for the emotional opening night in Cardiff back on July 4th, for their homecoming at Heaton Park in Manchester on July 16th and when the tour was close to our own homebase at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

A Daniel Avery remix of Hallelujah is the latest treat from Happy Mondays as the celebrations surrounding their 40 years together as a band continue.

This is part of a series of digital remixes which started with Paul Oakenfold’s fresh look at Step On last month, while a compilation entitled The Factory Singles is due for release on December 5th.

In addition, a UK tour is booked for March 2026 marking another milestone – the 25th anniversary of Pills ’N’ Thrills & Bellyaches.

Richard Ashcroft is the latest artist to be confirmed for the Forest Live concert series in 2026 and will play Westonbirt Arboretum on Sunday, June 28th.

There’s plenty of big UK shows coming up next year for the Verve frontman following a successful 2025 which has taken in a high profile spot supporting Oasis’ Live 25 world tour and the release of his new solo album Lovin’ You.

“Come to think of it, isn’t one definition of freedom doing whatever you want to do provided that it doesn’t cause harm to anyone else?,” Live4ever’s review opens.

“The British icon is about to write a new chapter in the history of the festival,” Rock In Rio president Roberto Medina has said after confirming Elton John for the event next year.

“I’ve always had a fantastic time whenever we’ve played in Brazil,” Elton has responded.

“I didn’t manage to get to South America for the farewell tour, so when Rock In Rio asked me to play, I said yes immediately.”

The Vaccines are the first band to be confirmed for a new concert series in the north of England next year.

Wakefield will host Live At Tileyard North during the summer, The Vaccines due there as part of the touring on which the band are performing their fondly remembered 2010 debut album in full.

“We’ve always prided ourselves on working closely with the communities we promote in; building events, networks and relationships that continue to grow and thrive,” Toby Womack of promoters Futuresound Events commented.

The Black Keys, Richard Ashcroft and Kasabian have been revealed as the headliners for Victorious Festival 2026 in Portsmouth.

“We are so proud of the line-up we’ve curated for 2026!,” the festival’s lead booker Andy Marsh has responded.

“From rock royalty that will have the crowd bouncing to disco, funk and dance that will have the whole family singing along and up dancing, the bill really does span every genre and promises something unforgettable for every member of our audience.”
