Bethenny Frankel had some harsh words to say about her tumultuous divorce from ex-husband Jason Hoppy.
“It was so traumatic. It was 10 years of my life, I lost hair,” Frankel, 55, said during the Wednesday, December 3, episode of Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast. “I thought I would never survive it. I didn’t want to.”
“I have seen my mother slit her wrists. I have lived my whole life chasing her into bathrooms, trying to catch her throwing up. I’ve been around guns, the mafia, the race track. I’ve been through everything…I have seen everything,” she continued. “Nothing compares to what my divorce was for 10 years.”
The Real Housewives of New York City alum added through tears, “I literally thought I’ll never be happy again.”

“I treated it like a marathon, and I went one mile at a time, and I checked every box,” she shared. “It was fraud. It was stealing. It was hacking. It was harassment. It was abuse…It was torture.”
Frankel’s divorce from Hoppy was dragged out for a decade after she originally filed in January 2013 after just two years of marriage. The former couple share daughter Bryn, now 15.
“Every woman needs to know, do not f**k around and find out,” she told Cooper. “It was the worst thing that I could ever wish upon a person.”
