Receivers appointed to famed nightspot beloved by Dublin’s social set

There was a time when House Dublin was the place to see and be seen, but sadly not any more.

After setting up shop in 2013, the venue, which operates on Leeson Street, was quickly adopted by the Capital’s social set as one of the most popular nightspots in Dublin.

Fast forward to 2025, and receivers have allegedly been appointed to House Dublin and its Limerick counterpart.

Both form part of publican Alan Clancy’s Nola Clan Group, with the receivers also appointed to the companies behind them, Sontsul Ltd and Yellow Way Ltd.

Two related properties, Vistamet Properties, were also reportedly included in the receivership news.

The Currency reports that both House Dublin and House Limerick have reassured their customers that they intend to honour all current bookings.

Most recently, House Dublin was in the headlines as the venue for Greg O’Shea’s wedding to Jeanni Mulder.

The couple hosted their nuptials at the venue in October, having chosen to tie the knot in the same spot where they had their first date.
