Druski Takes Aim at ‘Hatfishing’ in Hilarious New Skit

In a hilarious new skit shared online, Druski tackles the trend of “hatfishing.”

In the sketch, which can be seen below, Druski is seen wearing a baldcap with horrific, very patchy hair loss. But that all goes away the second he puts on a fitted cap. He then joins a coworker, where he leaves them speechless after taking off his hat and revealing his type when it comes to women.

“I need something with long curly hair, like an independent woman,” he says. “I’m picky, I’m picky, bro. I’m picky as fuck. I can have a choice, because when you a provider, you would be surprised what a woman would do for you.”

He also goes for a haircut in the skit, with the barber offering him the chance to get black spray on his head. In another moment, he’s streaming on Instagram when multiple people ask him to remove his hat and accuse him of “hatfishing.”

“You hatfishing… What that mean?” he says. “‘Why you wearing the hat with the suit?’ Y’all ain’t worried ‘bout no money, though.”

He meets his biggest challenge to date when he attempts to go to a bar with others, and the security guard tells him that no one is allowed to wear hats. He also scares off a potential love interest when she takes off his hat and freaks out.

For those unfamiliar, a “hatfish” is used to describe a man who deceives others by wearing a hat to conceal hair loss, a five-head, or any other feature they’ve deemed undesirable. The name comes from the widely popular term “catfish,” which refers to someone who deceives others online, either with a false identity or an appearance that does not resemble their own.

The sketch comes not long after Complex named Druski the funniest person on the internet. The comedian has been putting in work this year, whether it be with his skits or his Coulda Been Records auditions. He also recently linked up with Timothée Chalamet amid Marty Supreme promo.
