Katy Perry’s Friday nights are looking different these days.
Instead of dancing on table tops and skinny-dipping in the dark, these days Katy’s time—in this case, a weekday afternoon—is spent with new love Justin Trudeau, and the many formal meetings that come with dating the former Prime Minister of Canda.
Case in point: the “Dark Horse” singer and Justin recently visited with Japan’s former Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, who held the position from 2021 to 2024, and his wife Yuko Kishida.
“Former Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau came to Japan with his partner Katy Perry and had lunch with us,” the Japanese politician captioned a Dec. 4 post, via translation, recounting some of the ways he and Justin worked together as prime ministers. “I am glad that we are continuing this friendship.”
In the accompanying image, the group of four are all smiles as they stand in front of a Christmas tree. Katy, for her part, wore a chic, army green two-piece skirt set which she paired with a black turtleneck, tights and black booties.
